Talent and Performance
Management
Talent management is
the act of fully leveraging your talent in a way that differentiates
you in the marketplace. Talent management drives performance.
So how does that
happen? These four steps serve as guideposts:
-
Know where you are
headed
-
Assess what you
need people doing
-
Measure and
evaluate how effectively they are doing it
-
Develop them to do
more in the future
► Organizational Assessment
► Identification of Functional
and
Leadership
Competencies
► Competency Modeling
and
Validation
►
Alignment of Competencies with
Performance
► Career Path Systems design
Organizational
Assessment: Our assessment evaluates talent and performance
management approaches (processes), the extent to which they are
deployed, evaluated/improved, aligned, and integrated throughout the
organization, and their effectiveness at driving organizational
results.
Identification of
Functional and Leadership Competencies: We align the organizational
strategic plan, business model and values with the core knowledge,
skills and abilities required by the workforce.
Competency Modeling
and Validation: Our process develops and maps behavioral-based
competencies to a specific functional work group, job family and job
role. We ensure the accuracy and "fit" of those competencies through
a validation process which includes functional subject matter experts.
Alignment of
Competencies with Performance Evaluation Process:
Organizational assessment data enable us to evaluate existing
performance management processes and incorporate behavioral-based
competencies to ensure the organization has an integrated performance
and talent management system that effectively measures the what
(goals and objectives) and the how (competencies) of
performance.
Career Path Systems
Design: We design, implement and deploy career path systems. Broadly
defined, a career path system includes career ladders that promote
vertical and lateral people movement within the organization. This
system expands the competency development process to create a system
to effectively manage, evaluate, promote and develop skills within the
client organization. DCW provides a systems approach to talent
management.
